This exhibition marks the first time that works from Suzuki Tsuneshi’s collection are being presented alongside the museum’s new acquisitions.

The main theme of the exhibition is “light.” While Claude Monet and other Impressionist painters explored light-related expressions, Gerhard Richter, Cerith Wyn Evans, and other contemporary artists have also displayed a strong interest in light. In addition to introducing the current state of the Pola Museum of Art, the exhibition considers the future of the museum and the potential of the collection.
